I started using this Snare Pan around 2015 in order to use it with the SPK-2. It is a 15 inch mini Tenor (Soprano) pan inside a hexagonal snare case that I built made of sheet metal. The notes do not sound quite as clear as the 23 inch pan used in the SP-1, however, it enabled a more ergonomic set up when used with a Spring Pan Kit.
